I will hear nothing bad about Judd Nelson.
Shocking Breakfast Club confessions:
- This movie came out when I was 13, and of course it was right up my alley, but it was rated R. So my friend Ned and I went to the 2-screener near his house, bought tickets for the other movie, and snuck in. This meant telling our parents- and the guy running the box office- that we were going to see “Places In The Heart.” You know how teenage boys love a Depression-era Sally Field farm drama.
- Even then- even at 13- Judd Nelson kind of killed this movie for me. His is a terrible performance, and in your heart you know this.
