Probably the most interesting track from Architecture & Morality, OMD’s third album and their most successful from earlier, less commercial-sounding days (from this album came “Joan of Arc”, “Souvenir” and “Joan of Arc (Maid of Orleans)”). With hints of what would eventually happen on Dazzle Ships, and echoes of early Depeche Mode, “Sealand” for me is OMD at their most ambient.
